The location of Mawimbi Bungalows in Nungwi is marvelous and quiet, just a short walk from the beach. the room I stayed in was very pretty and clean, perfect for relaxing with a drink.

For the price we paid, Mawimbi Bungalows exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, cozy, and well-equipped - especially the huge comfortable bed and large bathroom. The location was ideal, just a short 5-7 minute walk to the beach, and there were plenty of great dining options nearby. The staff, especially Mrs. Carla and the rest of the team, were friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. a unique and beautiful spot for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

mawimbi bungalows in nungwi surpassed our expectations during our honeymoon. the bungalows were clean, spacious, and had beautiful labeled plants. the staff were friendly and helpful, and carla, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

breakfast was disappointing

The Breakfast Setup: The breakfast setup at this place was quite interesting, like a treasure hunt for food. There were no menus, so you had to ask what was available. It felt like a game of surprise, where you never knew what delicious treats awaited you each morning. Just a little tweak with a menu or a buffet-style setup could add more convenience.

The family bungalow was in a peaceful and nice location close to The Panje Project. The area was cozy.

Beds were super comfortable and rooms were a good size. the open-air restaurant in the middle was a nice touch. the location was perfect, just a short walk to both the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and attentive, with special thanks to Anina for her excellent service. the pool was clean and inviting, and we enjoyed being served cocktails poolside. the breakfasts were a pleasant surprise, with generous portions of delicious food, fresh juices, and a new local delicacy each day.

. The lack of air conditioning in the bungalow was a bit uncomfortable, but the fan helped to cool things down.
